Here's how you can participate:
1. Pick up a coupon for a free pumpkin at participating waterfront businesses, identified by a sign in their windows. (One coupon per household.)
2. Bring your coupon to the Harbor History Museum on Tuesday, Oct. 25 between 3 and 6 p.m. and pick up your pumpkin, donated by Charlie’s Produce, while supplies last.
3. Return your carved, painted or embellished pumpkin to the Museum on Saturday, Oct. 29 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for judging.
4. Your pumpkin will then be delivered to a “host” business. Follow the map to participating merchants and search for your pumpkin in the Historic Waterfront District while trick-or-treating on Halloween, Oct. 31, between 3 and 6 p.m.
