Every year the Astronomical Society of the Pacific along with other partners like NASA, put together resources for local librarys to host a Observe the Moon event. At Kobitech Library on October 8th, from 4:30-6pm, you are invited to view the moon from the parking lot. Some viewing scopes and binoculars will be provided but please bring your own if you have them. This allows for everyone to have a great view. Dress for possibility of cold weather.
Event will be cancelled if raining. Please call Kobetich Library @ 591 - 5630 on the day of the event if there is a threat of rain to verify if event is on.
