King County Parks & Rec
King County has a large Parks and Rec department. It includes taking care of existing parks and trails as well as hosting various events. Below is a link to their calendar if events. If you like to hike, consider volunteering for a trails clean up day. Not only will you get outside, but you will also be teaching the younger ones how to take care of the things we use.
