Port of Shelton Fairgrounds - Shelton, Washington. (Formerly known as Mason County Fairgrounds) Developed and operated by Skookum Rotary Club Foundation, OysterFest is always held the first full weekend of October. Gates open to the public from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
This is a fairly large festival, so I an sure they are doing something to ensure the oysters are good to eat. The rotary returned my call and they vett their supplier pretty well. But I was still warmly invited to eat a hamburger should I have continued reservations.
