On September 10th from 10am till 1pm at Sprinker Rec Center in Spanaway, Pierce County Parks and Recreation presents Touch a Truck. This event lets children, and even adults, touch various truck that work hard in different industries. From fire trucks to dump trucks and even Army strykers, you can climb in, sit and honk the horn (on some, not all). Even better, a special no-horns time from noon-1pm is scheduled for sensitive children. So come one, come all, and enjoy
